Re-connect outdoors summer 2020 – We are open! We have begun operating and guiding trips. We do still have some restrictions based on the counties we operate in and around with our permitting. Below is a list of towns and activities around that we are operating and updates:   Estes Park: Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP): Opened May 27th with Daily entry requirements. As a concessionaire, we can operate and guests can follow us into the park (and we will navigate the entrance with you when you book. Rock climbing / Mountaineering / Ski Descents – in RMNP. We still have a fair amount of snow in the mountains although it is melting at a fast rate. Fly Fishing (wade) – High waters and we are recommending high mountain lakes and dam fed areas. Float fishing trips are open and are on the Upper Colorado River Mountain Biking – 45 minutes downhill around Boulder Rafting – Upper Colorado River. Open, but trail ridge road in RMNP is closed, so guests have to drive around front range. Plan on 3:15 minutes each way. Once trail ridge road opens, trip is about 2:35 minutes each way across the highest continuous road in the US. This trip combines sightseeing and a river trips on the west side of the park. We have half day and full day trips.  Clear Creek River – 1:45 drive. We are not open, but looking to open June 5th and afterwards. Hiking: full day and multiday options. Backpacking: We begin in late June for our RMNP Trips. Sightseeing: On-hold currently. Open after June 10.   Grand Lake / Grandby / Winter Park: Open Same as Estes Park. But rafting and float fishing on Upper Colorado is 45 minutes downriver. Mountain Biking: 30 minutes away.     Boulder / Denver (Denver Tours / Trips in and around Boulder Area): Open Fly fishing: Wade around Boulder. Recommend lakes / ponds due to high waters. Mountain Biking: half and full day. Hiking: half, full and multi-day. Rock Climbing: Single pitch climbing and clinics. We will start multi-pitch climbing June 5th. Whitewater Rafting Upper Colorado River: Open. 2:30 minutes each way. Half and Full Day. Whitewater Rafting / Zipline Tour. Clear Creek River – 45 minute drive. We are not open, but looking to open June 5th and afterwards. Hiking: full day and multiday options. Sightseeing: On-hold currently. Open after June 10.   Summit County (Breckenridge / Keystone / Silverthorne / Frisco / Copper Mountain): Open Whitewater Rafting: Upper Colorado River Multi-day, Full day, half day trips. Fly Fishing (wade and float) trips: Upper Colorado River Multi-day, Full day, half day trips. Rock Climbing: We are operating in and around Rocky Mountain National Park.   Eagle County (Vail / Beaver Creek / Eagle / Edwards): Open Whitewater Rafting: Upper Colorado River Multi-day, Full day, half day trips. Fly Fishing (wade and float) trips: Upper Colorado River Multi-day, Full day, half day trips. Backpacking: Flattops Wilderness Area. Trips start in late June.   COVID: Update (We are open)

  • We have current social 6’ distancing requirements, except for those part of the same family, previously traveling together, or those living under the same roof. In certain environments (water/rocks), we might be closer than 6’ and then all face masks are required to be worn.

  • All Guests need to wear masks during transportation, in and around trailheads and put-ins. When we can be 6’ or more spacing (hiking, mountaineering, skiing, biking, rafting, fly fishing, backpacking, etc.), then guests have the option of taking masks down or off.

  • We will provide hand sanitizer to all guests. You are welcome to bring your own.

  • We have strict cleaning protocols for all equipment between use for all participants. Please inquire and we are happy to share how we are working to keep you and our staff healthy.

  • We are recommending all guests meet us at trailheads or put-ins and when we are providing transportations (are operating at a 50% or reduced capacity)

  • All our staff are required to wear masks and we are screened daily prior to trips.

  • If any guests: have any COVID symptoms or been exposed to a positive COVID case (family, work or travel), we are letting them reschedule and requesting that they do not attend a trip or event. We will send out COVID screening and updates with email confirmation when you book.
