Experience the thrill of winter on two wheels with our guided fat tire biking tours in Boulder, Golden, Denver and Brainard Lake Recreation Area. Designed for all experience levels, fat tire biking offers a fun and approachable way to explore Colorado’s snow-packed trails. These bikes are equipped with wide, low-pressure tires that float across snow and ice, allowing for a smooth, stable ride through stunning alpine scenery.


A typical day begins with meeting your guide at the trailhead, central meeting spot, or your local hotel, where all gear—including bikes, helmets, and layers—will be provided. After a brief orientation and safety talk, you’ll set off through pine forests, frozen lakeshores, and rolling meadows blanketed in snow. Expect laughter, light challenges, and plenty of scenic stops to take in mountain views and capture photos.


Whether you’re pedaling beneath clear blue skies at Brainard Lake or winding through the foothills around Golden, Boulder, or Denver our tours are the perfect mix of adventure, exercise, and winter beauty. With professional guides leading the way, you’ll gain confidence on snow, learn bike-handling techniques, and discover why fat tire biking has become one of Colorado’s most exciting cold-season adventures.


Included: Professional biking guide, Fat Tire bike rental and helmet, round-trip transportation from your hotel or central location (if needed), water, snacks, and natural history education, repair kits (floor pump, hand pump, patch kits, etc.), emergency medical kit.


Not Included: Gratuities for your guide (20% recommended,auto-added for groups of 6+). Denver hotel pick-up: $125 per group.


Special Notes: Bike upgrades available for full-suspension mountain bikes or road bikes (additional cost). Custom routes based on your skill level and preferences.
