Getting Unplugged

Getting Unplugged

Wired magazine’s recent Q&A [insert link to article: http://www.wired.com/magazine/2013/04/facebookqa/] with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg mentioned “Facebook vacations.”  Reading about people taking time away from their news feeds got us thinking.

We’ve all seen technology change – landlines gave way to cell phones, which can now do everything but butter your toast (though we’re sure that app is on its way), and most of us spend our days in front of a computer screen.

Despite all these avenues of digital connection, we’ve seen our guests seeking ways to unplug, whether it be a couple of hours snowshoeing in remote areas of Rocky Mountain National Park or a team-building day out of the office with nothing but GPS and a stack of clues to guide them through an orienteering challenge.

We may be biased, but we think you should consider taking your next technology hiatus somewhere as awe-inspiring as the Colorado Rockies!
