We might be just easing into summer, but it’s not too early to think about the fall — at least, it’s not too early to start planning your next adventure with Colorado Wilderness Rides and Guides.
We have a couple of trips in the works for September, the perfect time of year to be outdoors in Colorado.
Want to experience the lush valleys and breathtaking mountaintop views of Colorado and Utah? Don’t mind working up a sweat to reach 8,500 feet? Then it sounds like the Kokopelli Trail might be for you.
Sanctioned in 1989, the 142-mile path stretches from McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area near Loma, Colorado to Moab, Utah. But our 5-6 day trip will be a bit different: We’re starting you out in Moab and bringing you back home to Colorado.
As always, there is the option for extra riding on Slick Rock Trail, and although it’s not “officially” part of the Kokopelli Trail, we’d be more than happy to take you on Porcupine Rim.
Love the idea of a six-day adventure but don’t want to confine yourself to spending the whole time on a bike? Then our multi-sport extravaganza could be the perfect way for you to finish the summer.
Grand Junction is the starting place for this grand adventure, where you’ll spend two days rafting on the Colorado River, ripping your way down rapids all the way into beautiful Utah.
Two days of climbing and biking will keep your blood flowing and show you more of the best of the West. Then, because we can’t get enough of this beautiful city, we’ll wind you down with two days of hiking near Moab.
Inspired but our ideas but dying to try something a bit different? Give us a call and we’ll work with you to set up the trip of your dreams.
The time is now.
